Special Collections cover various resources in culinary area, such as menus, cook books, personal recipe collections, audio-visual media, cook magazines, academic publications, manuscripts, artifacts, etc. Donation is a very import part of developing our collections to support studying, teaching and researching. We appreciate and welcome donations of those recourses and will acknowledge them in our database.
Desirable Donations
• Menus, including transport menus, restaurant menus, hotel menus, club menus, and all other occasional menus. • All cook books and wine books, especially rare books. • Unpublished materials that can add value to the current collections
Condition of the donation
Materials must be in good condition or repairable condition and can be adequately and appropriately conserved, catalogued and stored.
Disposal of unwanted items
The LRC reserves the right to dispose the items which are duplicated copies, unsuitable materials, and bad condition materials.
